So we can see if ETH is a loser as you claim. I don't want to dig through many pages to find our posts.

I claimed it's been a loser as of now and I am correct. I never said it would be a loser in the next few months

I actually claimed back in 2024 that in late 2025 it would out perform BTC, so really you are saying the same thing but you bagheld to get here.

ETH/BTC is currently 0.039 so I can see it going as low as 0.03, but swapping BTC for ETH anywhere between 0.03 and 0.04 will give you better returns by late 2025.

It hasn’t been a loser for the past 3 months.

ETH is up 85.04%
BTC is up 11.65%

As I’ve said before, it all comes down to timeframes. ETH has outperformed BTC over the past 5 years, while BTC has outperformed ETH over the past 3. And XRP? It’s outperformed BTC over the past 3 years as well.

When the SEC lost their lawsuit against XRP, the price spiked — and then dumped — and I remember either you or Mayday mocking XRP for it. But look what it did last year!

I stay bullish on crypto because I think the dollar is trash. The U.S. debt is out of control, and Trump even floated the idea of canceling interest payments on U.S. Treasuries held by China. No wonder buyers are hesitant to keep funding that debt.

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/18/opinion/trump-debt-bonds-treasury-interest-rates.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare

I bag hold because I’m that bullish on crypto. Sure, it means I miss out on accumulating more at the absolute bottom — but did you buy ETH at $1,500 back in April? If you had, you’d be sitting on a 3x right now.

Kevin O'Leary Says Bitcoin, Ethereum Enough To 'Capture The Promise' Of Crypto, Advises Against 'Irrelevant' Tokens

Renowned investor Kevin O’Leary expressed his belief on Wednesday that owning only Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) can capture the majority of the cryptocurrency market’s volatility and yield.

Don’t Chase ‘Irrelevant Tokens,’ Says O’Leary
O’Leary took to X, sharing a clip from his recent interview with Al Arabiya English, in which he said that instead of chasing the hordes of “irrelevant” tokens in the market, one should focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum to “capture the promise” of cryptocurrency.

Walls of texts and carefully chosen time frames won't change the fact you fucked up this cycle by holding ETH. 2 pages of saltiness and you trying to justify has been great for laugh though. Keep it going

You should check your walls of texts before telling someone to relax.

You should have also checked my post history as a few months back I posted one of my wallets on here that at the time had a $3m plus USD value. Wasn't even my main wallet

But you keep believing I have zero crypto if it makes you feel better, and I'll keep laughing at your bag holding and your walls of texts trying to justify it.

Flexy - if only this guy was a hodler / bag holder. Traded $345,000 ($373,500 at peak) for an iPhone 6s

when I sold 3 btc for an iphone and panicked my way into the worst trade of my life
Had 3 Bitcoin sitting in my wallet in 2015 that i swore i wouldn't touch. then btc hit close to $400 and something in my brain just snapped.

kept obsessing over charts thinking this had to be the top. "It's gonna crash any second and i'll be left holding bags" - that's literally what went through my head every day.

So i did the dumbest thing possible. sold all 3 coins and walked straight to the Apple store for that new iphone 6s everyone was talking about.

Felt like a genius for exactly one week. New phone, "smart" move, beat the market. Except the market had other plans.

Bitcoin didn't crash. It kept climbing past my sell point, day after day. i became obsessed with checking prices, watching what i gave up grow into something i couldn't afford to buy back.

That phone died years ago. Probably still buried in some drawer somewhere. those 3 BTC i panic sold? Worth about $350k at today's prices.

The worst part isn't even the money. it's knowing i broke my own rule because i got scared of a number going up.

This guy is about as bullish as me - lol! He's been wrong so far on many of his predictions. But maybe he'll be right at some point like a broken clock. I enjoy his chart analysis.

That question is for me? Or Obsidian?

If for me, I would say the USD will clearly continue to drop against BTC over time. What movement and volatility there will be in the short term is much harder to pick. If I had to pick, my guess is that BTC is likely to end in the in the USD 130-180K range by end of 2025.

More bag boy comedy

Next time when your superiors speak, listen

0.25 was priced in weeks ago. After the decision you either take some profit and money off the table (I did) or continue holding your long term holds (which I'm also doing) It isn't a time to enter new positions as there is likely a flush soon (for Alts)

If it was a surprise 0.5 rate cut then it would potentially have been a different story.

Q4 was always gonna be bullish crypto. If you're only figuring that out now then you're late to the party

You are pretty much right with this comment. You are confusing the BTC as base layer. BTC will be the primary unit of value which all economic value is measured in, and benchmarked to. Including on GCUL. But you are right, GCUL is closed (and by the way not decentralized L1). I also know someone kind of on this project at Google with a similar background to the guy you mention- I wonder if its the same guy! I'll ask him.

I would say, Eth maxies should be concerned any time a better/faster smart contract platform gets created - especially one from a major tech player. Time will tell. Google do have a record of failure with new projects, but this one they are well placed for. I am a Google shareholder, so would be please to see them succeed.

If we know similar people then you should also know that a new start up is about to announce their google cloud linked blockchain protocol very very soon!

They have been carrying out global banking transactions in stealth for a while now and will be catching many people off guard with their announcements

Question for everybody. Thanks for your estimate.

In a nutshell, as your question is more likely "should I buy (or sell) now", my view is that you should just always continue to buy, and hodl. This thread started at BTC 3K, its not 112K. Its had ups and downs along they way, but anyone that has simply regularly sold USD to buy BTC has done very well over time...
