UFC 1993 told not to sign Karelin, Tyson or Yates
« on: January 29, 2026, 12:16:59 PM »
In the early ufc days they knew how dangerous Karelin was,300lb wrestling animal. Tyson the nuclear power puncher and obviously Dorian Yates, Mr Olympia and world's best fighter by far.
Karelin and Tyson were threats,  Yates would have destroyed the entire ufc roster in one night.

He ended up training one of their best fighters though.

Think that was more of a publicity event paid by Segal.
