Well, you know what I mean. 

He really looks silly arguing with people like 240 and Layne.  Say what you will about either of them, but they are both super intelligent people.  I'm not saying Bob is dumb or anything, but both of them would definitely win in an academic debate, just as Bob would win in a bodybuilding show.  Point is: they should all do what they're good at and not try to be something they are not.

Yup, tried telling Bob this - ie. starting an online argument with people who are both witty (and that takes smarts) and good computer skills (graphics, etc.) would be a mistake for a man of his (limited) intelligence and temperament. He ignored my friendly advice and what followed was self-fulfilling and entertaining.

I like Bob, honnestly.
I think those little debates are funny and they would be better if he could take some critism.
In example: When people talk about Bob's win at the master. I understand he can get angry if everybody start saying he looked like shit and it was a fix.

HOWEVER, he still get angry if we say constructive critism like: Bob has been way harder, he was a little fat from the back.

IMO, Bob deserved the win. but he can't even admit that he was off, and he know he was. Wheeler gave constuctive comments and bob said: Well that is the reason why flex is a photographer and not a judge.

Getbig is number one without doubt.

ALL the pro's that post here are awesome athletes...it seems half of you forget what they've achieved to get where they are, male and female...and this IS a Bodybuilding board remember.

Nah, its more like board for those us with a common interest in BB who want to be informed and be entertained and be allowed to spout off. If I just wanted info. I'd go to one of those other sites, be bored and probably shoot myself.

Have you checked out any of the other boards on getbig...training and nutrition...the steroid board...powerlifting??

We have some of the most knowledgable guys/girls in the biz posting/moderating here, you're just speaking about the g&o and the xyz etc.

the three most active boards on getbig are g&o, the sex board, and member pics. this isn't a board for people to learn the ropes about bodybuilding, it's a place for people who have an interest in bodybuilding to be amused and if help is needed can get a little. bb.com has a miscellaneous board but no 'general' one, so if you're on that board chances are you're in a section devoted to something information-based.

there are damn smart people here no doubt about that, but the sheer number of posters on bb.com keeps things moving faster and just makes it generally a better resource. it's the encyclopedia to the magazine that is getbig. you can get more information out of the former, but the mag has good info too, and which is more fun to read?
