Prostate Cancer
« on: June 16, 2006, 08:30:08 PM »
I was thinking about doing a cycle in the future consisting of 500mg of a test ester. I have a history of prostate cancer in my family my dad and my grandfather both had it. Fortunately both of them beat it and are still alive. I know my risks are high but what is the safest test ester for men at risk for prostate cancer? Thanks

Im pretty sure no test ester will be any better than the other in regards to this.  Test is test once it is free of is binder.

As it sounds like you already know androgens will cause your prostate to grow, and could speed up any predisposition you may have to this type of cancer.  Since your dad and grandfather had it that is a pretty good family history of it.

This is a risk only you can decide if it is worth it. How old are you?

If you do decide to do it keep the doses low.  Try taking some prostate protective herb compounds like saw palmetto and pygeum.  They are available at health food stores, I take them with all my cycles.

May be a good idea if your doctor is cool or to find one who is and talk to him or her about it.

Obviously it is a risk.  I would def take proscar at 2.5mg a day (break the pill in half).  That should help protect your prostate....
