ND, don't entirely blame Ronnie. I feel that he is so clueless about his true condition and has so many sycophants blowing smoke up his pie hole that he was oblivious to his poor condition. My god, when you enter the Mr. Olympia with a forty inch, bloated disgusting gut it should be obvious that something was amiss. Alas, Ronnie is so sheltered by his "people" that he really thought he was on. It is quite sad, as he is a shell of his former self. In a way, I can now see your reasoning for picking Doz. He may have not peaked as high as Ronnie 1999/2003 but he came damn close. However, even in 1994 and 1997 he came into the show in condition and with only half an arm. Damn, Ronnie came into this show with half a leg, half of his lats and no tricep on the left side. It was in my opinion the poorest showing by a standing Mr. Olympia in some time. Thus, props to Haney and Doz for going out on top as they saw the writing on the wall. Ronnie should have seen it coming, but he is too dense or oblivious to reality. If he comes back next year with a similar gameplan it will be a mockery and not even funny.
