Whats funny is that "bbers" even go around bragging and exagerating numbers, i personally have thrown my ego away when it come to goin heavy while lifting and stating number. I feel i should give honest advice or facts about what i do and why whenever someone asks me. About 2 weeks ago i am lifting at Gold's after a job interview there (i got to meet the owner through a conect) and there was a young kid on summer break about 150lbs "curling" 45lbs DB for 2-3inch range of motion, well i felt the need to help him by sayin "yo dude not to be rude but your not gonna build big arms like that" i then stated "I have never even used 45lbs DBs in a biceps routine and look at my arms (as i did incline curls with 25lbs). Well he started to ask a few questions and i gave him a few pointers and i was sure to tell him that if your training for the look and not strength that you need to toss the ego out the window and workout the smart way, along with that will also come respect from the kind of people you want to respect you and that will be followed with more advice from reliable sources.
God Damn i havn't ranted like this for a long time
