So you know, with all the respect to him, and all the other athletes, I just want to beat the guy. And you know what, when I do beat him, you know people are going to make excuses (about) why I beat him. And say, ‘Maybe he’s over the hill’ or ‘He didn’t look his best.’ But you know what? First is first. You take it the way it comes. People are always going to have opinions.
I think I overestimated Jay's intelligence or at least his insight. It is completely irrelevant if he deserves to win or not - he won't win, period. First off, it's unlikely that he can come in and have a good enough showing to even beat Ronnie to begin with, but even IF he did (which is possible), he will still lose! It's just how the judging goes.Riddle me this:In 2004 during the challenge round, Ronnie beat Dexter in the abs and thigh challenge, and it's cited that Ronnie has a superior lat span and larger thighs. Then Markus goes up against Dexter and low and behold, Markus too has a superior lat span and larger thighs and Dexter beats Markus.Somebody please explain this corrupt judging decision to me like I'm a two year old. Actually, wait, I got it - IT'S CALLED POLITICS. It is the nature of any subjective judging, and is definitely present in bodybuilding shows. Just ask Steve Weinberger if you want to hear another story about the politics of bodybuilding (involving his wife Bev).Jay will lose WHETHER OR NOT HE DESERVES TO. I previously did think Jay was a pretty intelligent guy, at least relative to his peers, but now I don't know.http://www.bodybuildingpro.com/challengeroundflaws.html

Markus does not have the detail that Ronnie does little boy It takes more than just superior sizer to beat someone. Riddle solved.
