Thanks Kenny for clearing that up. I did speak with Steve about possibly coming on board with him with "Intentions" of helping to clean up the magazine, it never happend and the rest is history.
JR,Great job on the air Monday night. I think that you did a fantastic job defending yourself and getting your point across. I agree that all of this needs to be put to bed and move on for the benefit of the sport. I think that this is a loose, loose situation. Big Ups to you. Shawn, loved your comment about the ninjas. That was a low blow. I would low blow you back, but I"d end up hitting you in the nose. Regarding your comment about what I said about MD over four years ago, is somewhat true. But, MD has evolved since then. Now, it is a very respectable magazine who give athletes a chance to make money for photo shoots and interviews. Speaking of money, I find it interesting that you failed to mention that you repeatedly begged SB for a job. I distinctively remember having conversations with you asking for SB to give you a call back. Hey JR, I recall a time when Shawn came by and introduced himself to the table of the MD crew. At that time SB had adviced us that he had been calling him for a job. John, do you remember your exact words? Anyway, my point is this. I feel that the sport needs all of the coverage that it can get. I feel that it is all of our responsibility to put something back into the sport that has given us all so much. There are some guys that work for AMI that I have the utmost respect for and MD is my home. Lets stop fighting against each other and start fighting for each other. One!
