Rhino Blames Jimmy Mentis For NOC Disaster

I apreciate all the comments made. I was happy to be there. Jimmy Mentis had me cycling my carbs and I was going flat onstage . As I ate, at the night show, I looked better. Anyway, I feel that I copmpletely missed the mark for many reasons. For now, I am taking a break, but still was no where near my best.

Jimmy, with all due respect, how else do you interpret those comments.  If Rhino was taking responsibility for his own performance, would he have said "Jimmy Mentis had me cycling carbs..."? He's trying to infer that your system caused his dismal physique.

I agree. Unless Jack also said something like " I wasn't prepared, and didn't do the work necessary. Jimmy had me cycling carbs AS A LAST MINUTE quick fix, but I just wasn't ready."

jimmy is not eating those carb's and his body is not digesting them.just number's given and times to eat,the body does the rest.as posted by mentis rhino was in hole from overdieting,and the adjustments made were too late....

I was not cycling his carbs last minute..maybe that's a mistake on his part. I was cycling his carbs the last 5 weeks when we got together. I had to be very sensitive about his loading phase but no..I didn not cycle the carbs then.

Jimmy, Read Jack's post again and you'll see that he was implying in an underhanded way that you had him on a bad system.  I know you are above all this bs, but Jack is trying to lay blame elsewhere in his own head, in an effort to avoid coming to grips with the reality of the situation.

Here's what I posted on a different thread:

Jack and I got together when he was 5 weeks out. I saw pictures of him and noticed that he was losing "weight" too fast. I called him as a friend to see if he needed a second pair of eyes. He asked me what I thought and I gave him my opinion that up to that point he was not eating enough and was over dieting and his body was in the red. We created a plan of attack to drop the bodyfat as much as he can but his body was just in overdrive. We tried high carbs a few days, medium and then low but he was still was losing weight and flat as a board. Jack was stuck between a rock and a hard place. We had to take a chance, either come in fat and full or drop some more bodyfat and take the chance of not having enough time to fill out. I am not saying that his only problem was filling out..he did need to lose about 8-10lbs but these are the situations a person is put in when time is a factor.

I truly think Jack really cares about how he looked and I'm sure it's disappointing to him. He is a true fighter and I'm sure he will make up for it next time. I am personally proud of him because I saw his struggles and he kept his head up high and should continue to.

I think we can all agree that carbs or no carbs, Rhino has no business being on a pro stage. After all the shit he talked turns out he's a white Vince Goodrum.

seems to me that rhino has been around long enough to know what he needs to do for a carb up...i could understand if he was just a bit flat but he was flat as a pancake...my guess would be he didnt use the right carbs to fill out or he took some loop diuretics fri night, sat morning and it backfired on him.

i dont really buy that he didnt have long enough to fill out...if he saw fri morning that he was still that flat he could have filled out fine in 24hrs using high gi carbs and insulin.

i just dont think there is any excuse for a vet like rhino to step on stage looking that flat...he should know better...i'm sure he'll be on point next time.

I know what this is like to overdiet. He did show signs of it. However, IMO if I was Jack, with AAALLLLLL his money and success, I'd hire the best help possible (Aceto, Rambod, Nichols, Milos) right from the start.

In the end, the blame is Jacks. He wasn't prepared, and looked very bad onstage. After all the shit he talked (and I never once got involved, I actually was unbiased throughout) I expected him to be great. Sorry, he wasn't even close.

Everyone who had seen pics of him knew what type of build he had already. The way he looked was no surprise at all. The thing with Rhino was that he thought he was more than he was. He was not, and is not, pro level. He tried to blame politics for his failure in the NPC, got pissy with some guys on Mayhem for telling it like it was etc.
