The problem is Lee would never become the rep.  He is not a yes man.  Manion wanted a person who needs bodybuilding and would say yes to everything he is told to do.

Very true.  Bob is exactly what they want......a company man.  Being a "yes" man is bad enough, but when you do it for an organization that is run by old perverts who advocate drug use, gay-4-pay, unprofessional policies, and tainted judging its really just sad.

I wouldn't say Shawn was a "yes" man

F@#K OFF I WANNA BE THE REP !!!!!

It has been said many times before on this board that I would be the best for the job, now admittedly I am the one who has said it , but it still was said !!!

I would as Rep suggest, nah state , nah demand for better mini bars in all the hotels , compulsory tanning by hot fitness babes , and push for the addition of a Wet T shirt competition and a Jelly wrestling display at all IFBB Pro shows !!

Now you cant tell me I wasn't working for the athletes  ;D

Chick, can Lee still attend the Athlete's meeting at the O, or is he "suspended" from that...?

You keep failing to see the obvious, Lee...there is no "we". Other than yourself (and Valentin), no one else seems to be concerned with competing elsewhere...As you are well awware, I tried to get all the guys on the same page a few years ago, with the same rhetoric you're using now...YES, in theory and on paper it would absolutely work.

In real life...it doesn't. As you yourself answered somee time ago when I asked you why YOU didn't attend the Union meeting for this same cause...your reply was "I was getting ready to compete, putting on color, etc..." Bottom line is, you were concerned about yourself, and only yourself. You didn't see any value in standing up for the other guys, or the cause.

Well, guess what...here we are 3 years later with you on the other side of the coin...and guess what the oother guys are doing? Getting ready for a competition, putting color on, etc..just like you were.

As I've stated 100 times now..If there was an interest level, I'd would certainly express the concerns of the athletes to the powers that be...as of this time, you're a 2 man army.

that is an owning of Lee to the 5th degree...And its like you didn't even have to try...

What Chic fails to mention in pionting out this singular instance is all the other times lee has been to these meetings and the outspoken support lee has shown in Chic's supposedly basis of his job and its purpose as athletes rep , another thing Chic does not elude to is the poor showing of athletes at his meetings which could just well be the same reason lee stated for this singled out instance chic talked about !!!

Go figure huh ??!!!

This was no regular meeting, my friend...we didn't even have meeting back then, or a representative, or ANY voice for that matter.

This was a meeting to see if there was enough interest to form a Union of IFBB pro bbers...exactly what lee is trying to say now, that we should "all stand together.." etc.

Using the phrase "powers that be" is absolutely gay.

One unintended consequence of this action is that Lee is now a martyr for bodybuilders wanting to have a fair go.
