post workout shake

2 scoops whey protein
2 scoops creatine
2 scoops l glutamine
1 banana
handful ice


put it in a blender...than fill up the remaining amount of space with non fat white milk and blend to desired consistancy.


it will get you big, bitches!!!

shake looks good but milk isnt a good idea post workout...milk will slow down the absorbtion...you need to add some simple sugars and replace the milk with water...the simple sugars will help to replenish your muscle glycogen as well as shuttle the other nutrients into the cells.

use either 50:50 of maltodextrin/dextrose...or even better waxy maize.

Unless you make it before you go to the gym, what's the point of waiting until you get home to make this shake? You can take the whey protein and creatine with you and consume it immediately after your workout.

I don't need the banana, as the carbs come from the creatine supplement I use.

  60 grams dex
  5 grams creatine
  20 grams whey protien
  with water....
     
   works good and ive been eating two hours after this post workout shake a whole grain meal with meat  with a muscle milk.....its been working wonders...lean as can be feel good and huge...
Whats the deal with the maldextrin though

some people use a 50:50 mix of the dextrose and maltodextrin...its not really a big deal...you will continue to do well with the dextrose only.

when you finish the dextrose you should give waxy maize a try...the stuff is awsone.

I've tried Gaterade,Powerade,Crystal light. whatever, Most of the time I just use water.
