melvin was robbed...he should have beaten jay..but jay was awarded it because it was all about jay and ronnie before the competition even started...previous years results shouldnt matter. Melvin congrats to the mr o win, everyone can see you beat jay in every pose.

WTF does being "bigger" have to do with "winning" the pose... bodybuilding is/should be about more than blocky size... how if you can see could you think Jay wins abs/thighs with that 40+ inch waist?

ray: they are brainwashed, just like some people start liking a song if its played non stop on radio..even if its a crappy song. the same way they think its only about jay and ronnie..in reality there are several guys that are all better than them presently.

funny thing is that it wasnt even close between melvin and jay...(anthony was far better than jay...a big waist like jay has should disqualify him from winning)

I disagree. Melvin is good no question, but, he didn't beat Jay last night. In a few years, if he can maintain his V-taper he will be unstoppable, however, that was not last night.

Melvin and Vic were the 2 guys on the stage who really made massive improvements and gave it there all this year, all the others looked the same or worse than the year before, although i do think jay deserved the victory i think melvin and vic have laid the foundations for themselves for the future.

If Melvin had wheels, Jay would be an afterthought.  No Mr. Olympia should have a mid-section that flares more than his lats on the ab/thigh shot.  That is the ugliest ab/thigh shot ever.  From the back, Jay has him from the waist down, but Melvin kills him with detail.  Jay is thick, but has the detail of analog television...i.e. none.
