I agree that it'd be an interesting storyline.

But in BBing, the champ stays the champ.

And after that posing routine, he must have felt like an ass by losing.  I am not sure he'd trust the puppetmasters about as far as he can throw them.

Maybe I should have made my thread a little clearer 240...you have business sense, marketing knowledge.

Personally, I am far more interested to hear Ronnies comments about this evening then Jays. I dont know how you guys feel, but Jay saying "Its about time" etc. Even BrianX could probably guess what Jays going to say.

I realise the ifbb isnt going to offer more prize money...or offer him a deal, but I for one would definitely be interested to see what would happen next year if Ronnie got back on stage...bsn may realise that and entice him.

I think what people are saying - and what I'm saying BB is that they aren't paid appearance fees, they aren't paid more for contraversy (in placings winnings) and basically this won't make Ronnie richer, it will make him poorer.  He makes a great deal of money going to places to guestpose that he wouldn't if he were not Mr Olympia.

Like coming here (oz).  Now I assume Doherty will want Jay to come down here instead.

Good call.  He just needs to take one Euro show from Jay.  Then...it starts for next yrs O.  Should be enough for the boys at BSN to resign him for another $1M + guessing posing.  If he and Jay had any sense...they'd setup a guess posing tour.  Let us see if the IFBB a$$e$ have a clue and have 2 of the 3 Euro shows go to Ronnie.

lets assume this is true.  Does Ronnie have another show in him at this level?  He's got some glaring injuries that need to be addressed, his left lat, tricep etc.  Once a guy starts tearing shit left and right it's usually over...look at Dorian and Gaspari....

And I agree, he should address the problems first.

But would he rather just take on Jay with totally different judges?  He is far better than Jay when he's on and judges may overlook the lat.

The tricep is a fairly minor issue.. it doesn't really detract atall.

Dorian's was too bad, no way was he going to come back from that.  ( but he still went and scored an olympia - what a load of shit ::))

The (bodybuilding) magazines don't pay the athletes for interviews. I do hear that MD gives them $500 for a photo shoot though.
