Just listened to it & it's understandable why he was a favorite in the 90's.

we know drugs are part of the sport, but hey, some might say that Football is safer

Probably Not.  –  If you recall, During the PBW interview, Matarazzo said:
“If I had a crystal ball and I knew that I would have a triple bypass 10 years down the road, I don’t know if it would have even scared me out of bodybuilding…..”
Mike's statement certainly offers a great look into the mind of a serious competitor.
