Where to start? If you've just started training just make sure you increase the amount of protein you are taking. If you are fat/chubby dont increase the carbs,just the protein, ideally whey protein upon waking and a slow-absorbing protein like casein last thing before bed.
If you are not fat then increase the carbs too, mainly from healthy whole food sources such as potatoes, brown rice, oats etc. If you're really a hardgainer also have some complex carbs with your protein before bed.
Take multivitamins, fish oil and vitamin c in order to keep you healthy. Oh yeah, also drink a lot of water. a gallon a day would be a start.
