those guys are all drugged up so have to workout that way or they are not maxing out the benefits the drugs can give them (so doing curls like that will max their arms, plus have the added benefit of overworking shoulders/back/hams/etc w/o overtraining).
I love this theory that drugs compensate for poor form, with no proof whatsoever. Gold.

I agree w/ JPM, with a couple caveots (altho I might be speaking out of my arse):
--those guys are all drugged up so have to workout that way or they are not maxing out the benefits the drugs can give them (so doing curls like that will max their arms, plus have the added benefit of overworking shoulders/back/hams/etc w/o overtraining).
--seems that once you've figured out the movement, doing it fast and/or sloppy is ok because you know how it's supposed to "feel". So beginners (TA) should do strict form, if only to "figure out" how it's supposed to feel. Then once they have that down, go to full-on mode. Similar to how you learn to swing a baseball bat or golf club. You learn the motion first w/o power, then once you've got the motion down, you can add power.

Maybe we could split this discussion out into two categories. One for naturals. One for juicers. Then within those two primary categories: beginners and experienced. So you'd have:

--Naturals: beginners
--Naturals: advanced
--Juicers: beginners (these are idiots btw)
--Juicers: advanced

Cuz I think most of the points given are valid in one area or another. Just not as blanket statements as they are being marketed.

I think this is a well thought out statement.

I used to cheat a lot.

Then I wisened up.

I can Respect Mason`s deadlift...That is one thing you cannot cheat.

I can duplicate Mason`s lift so I am not impressed at all,nor worried about it.  I have done 185 Barbell curls just fine.  No idea why he posted it.  That is one other thing I am really good at. Curls.

Do you not agree, that if he could do this exercise in a slow and controlled manner, THAT in fact, would be more impressive?

TA....your shoulder development & lack of biceps size is a clear indicator that you cheat curl quite often....

hope this helps

& what does this have to do with you performing cheat curls in your routine?

you know you do it all the time & probably just as bad as Arnold did it in the clip I provided.

Next Time I do curls I will tape it and see what happens.

What form would you like me to use?

The looser the form, the more I can do.
