don't even start with the mandatory crap. What difference does it make if it is not a mandatory pose. If dorian did not have so many major flaws he wouldn't have to worry about whether or not it was a mandatory pose or not, now would he? It highlights the tremendous differences in quality over dorian, that are, as you said, independent of bodyeight.

shawn owned dorian in 94, mandatories or not.

in that shot u can clearly see the difference in the lighting. ill admit that coleman is better then yates, but yates always had that hard grainy conditioning and you cant compare those two pics becuase of the lighting.

I beg to differ sport Dorian OWNED everyone in 1994 period end of sentence ! Dorian with the overwhelming advantage of the criteria including quality !

agreed, but to say that kevin, shawn, nassar and all those guys were low quality!.... crazy... plus listen to the PBW interview with Levrone, he even says that his best package was either the 00 or 02 olympias... it may be true that dorian faced alot of those guys in their "primes"... but we're not talking about dorian, this thread should read "dorian was given the most gifts in bb history"...

Shawns abs crush dorian's (actually they crush just about anyone's) , so do his quads, and his waist is tiny, all thiings that create an amazing ab and thgh.

I never said those guys were low quality , just not at their primes , hell all you mentioned look better in the early to mid 90s , when Ronnie hit his stride they were all past their , Shawn looked a hell of a lot better in 94 than in 1998 , Levrone in my opinion looked better in the early to mid 90s , Flex looked better in 93 than just about any time in his career , Ronnie did face them at thier primes and lost , granted he wasn't his best but its still a fact.

shawn probably has one of the best ab and thighs in history.

dorian never did - hell he never even flexed his quads in the pose, only his calves, but, the judges looked the other way.

they did that a lot during his reign...

No the judges said Dorian has a better abdominal thigh than Shawn Ray seeing he easily won the prejudging and after carefull exaimination of the visual evidence I concour !! Yates owns everyone in that particular shot including Ronnie.

88' top 10- haney, gaspari, demay, lebrada, strydom, quinn, buchannan, Samir, Love, Paris...

even at 10% off their best, (which isnt the case since plenty of guys were near if not their best) would have crushed the guy who placed equally... not taking eanything away from Haney... but the sport evolved and in the late 90's the competition was insane

The early to mid 90s is where the insane competition was not the late 90s , I was talking about the course of Coleman's career he did face a good field in 99 but post that ? a sub-par Kevin ( who claims he was at his best ) and who else? Cutler and Dexter Jackson? give me a break

I don't think Haney is the best Mr Olympia ever , I just believe he dominated his competition in the like Coleman never did and the judges scores confirm this

1st of all, Haney was awesome. not as good as ronald was or some of the 90's guys maybe, but better than all his competition. who should have beat him? midget with a huge head lebrada? mindget with shitty structure gaspari? hell no.

2nd pics dont do him justice...watch the 91 O video and you will see his greatness. he looked better than anyone he competed against.

Agreed. The only guys back then (84'-90') who could have beaten Haney were; Strydom, Mike Quinn, Mike Christian or Gaspari.

Haney was are last O - Ronnie was a great bodybuilder - a great carrier of the message? NO ! Promoting the sport is the purpose of being Mr.O .... so not the worst , rather the 2nd best behind Arnold . Their stats and condition 2 decades ago have nothing to do with the fact, if it was not for them you punk ass would not even be typing on getbig to spread your silly opinon.
