It's a her, and yes Nasser lets sleep in his bed. She basically has free reign to go wherever she wants within the large house and yard. Sometimes she shares his bed or finds herself in other areas of the house. Once when I woke up in the middle of the night to go for a bathroom break she was awake and roaming the hallway; it startled me at first because I wasn't expecting to see her! Definitely makes you feel more safe having her around.

Just got off the phone with Nasser, okay...not just now but yesterday evening, except I wasn't on my computer until now (the next day)

Yesterday Nasser went to San Juan Capistrano (a city in Orange County, CA) which is about an hour and 15 minutes north of San Diego. There he visited his friend Mike, who is a succesful manager at 24-hour Fitness, wen to a local Mexican restaurant, 24 hour Fitness Laguna Niguel, and of course McDonald's.
