I see. I remember Chris Lund writing the article, saying Nasser pressed those dumbbell from his shoulder to arms length while Ian Harrison got mad cause he couldn't do it when it was his turn to try.
Does Nasser lift heavy now BB? And who does he think is gonna be the next Mr O?
Even back in the day he would not routinely do things like the 200 lb dumbell press, those were just for photoshoots. For his regular training, he has always had the philosophy to train heavy but not so heavy that you risk injury, which would mean pyramiding down to 6 reps or so on the last set of an exercise, and that's with lower rest times so you're already pre-exhausted and can't lift as heavy. He also often pre-exhausts or sometimes super-sets.
I didn't ask him who he predicts would be the next O, but he did agree with me when I said that the current competition is at a lesser level than it was in the late 90's. He also felt Victor Martinez should have won last year.
