I think it's much deeper than immaturity. 

On the other hand, he may be ruining his legacy, but he's getting paid.  Amazing what we tolerate for the sake of winning.

i really wish teams would stop signing guys like this. theyre big babies who are only interested in their own accomplishments and care nothing about the team.

the cowboys need to drop him and move on. other teams should seee the poison he is to a team(eagles,cowboys) and avoid him like the plague

I agree.  Unfortunately, it probably won't happen.  How long did Lawrence Phillips hang around the NFL?  There are many others like him.
