Does Palumbo still compete?

.....and if so, what kind of placings is he getting these days?

I can't imagine he's that successful considering how badly his body has deteriorated from "Palumboism".

From all accounts he is a cool bro, but not the one to bring bodybuilding to the mainstream.

I suppose I don't understand why he receives so much coverage from the industry magazines when he's a substandard bodybuilder and obvious target for those who point to what AAS/GH/IGF-1/Insulin abuse can do over a period of years....   :-\

I asked Palumbo at the New Englands this year when his next contest was,and he just gave me a disgusted look............I beleive he`s retired.

The guy does mega guest posing appearances though.

Funny Palumbo story,

I did a show in '95 and Titus was guest poser.  He was prancing around back stage with attitude and Palumbo walked by just wearking a skinny tank and jean shorts.  Being 19 with nothing to lose (I was competing in the teens/novice mens), I pointed and shouted to Titus, "holy shit, that's a bodybuilder.... dude."  Palumbo laughed and Titus sneared at me.

Titus "pranced" around backstage like a cheerleader?

And then some of you wonder why bodybuilding will never be mainstream...

250lb. men prancing around like it's some kind of beauty contest...  :-\
