Actually -b- never claimed to be involved with the triad specifically. Although he didn't discourage any speculation that he was. He did claim he was over seeing Kublai's operation and that we were all safe because he was looking out for us. He just implied he was involved in some mob shit. Even Kublai played along and once told me that you don't want to mess with -b- because then you'd end up swimming with the fish. -b- would always punctuate his mob ties with phrases like, "I can't say more." or "I'll just leave it at that."
