Appy85 and I bump heads often. Especially in the beginning. He has a very abrasive personality and when provoked didn't hold back one iota no matter who you were. I was taken aback when he personally and publicly insulted ergo and then Lean. He just didn't give a crap. Everyone kissed Lean's ass because he quickly became gh15's right hand man but not Apply. I'd crack up the way he would scold Lean publicly in the mod section. But in time I realized that Apply really cared about the board and was looking after it as well gh15. He knew that some things gh15 did and how the board was run wasn't in everyone's best interest and he let everyone know. Believe it or not, though he wasn't afraid to make enemies he was against going out of his way or needlessly making enemies. Fighting for it's own sake. He'd often say when disagreeing with a policy, "He have enough enemies. We don't need to make more." He was one of the few that had the balls to speak out. He was afraid of no one. Not even gh15. One thing that soften my view of him, and like I said he is not the easiest person to get along with, was that he was against all the bannings and excessive censorship going on. When we have someone on the board we should do what we can to educate them and work with them and not just ban them. I soon began to see that I could have a potential and very powerful and fearless ally (he had an extremely strong presence on the board) on that board but it seemed like he disappeared and no longer responded to PMs. I thought he was simply getting disgusted with the board and felt he was fighting a losing battle. It was only much later that I found out he was banned. I would have thought that the banning of someone like Apply85 would have been announce and explained in the mod section but it seemed to be swept under the rug. I suspected it Lean82 was behind it. Apply was often to first to step up and take charge and I think Lean took it as a threat to his authority. Sometimes when I would post a directive in the supplier section I would see later that it was deleted and that Lean would then post pretty much the exact same thing. He wanted to make sure everyone knew who was in charge and who was calling the shots.

As much as we often didn't get along and I felt he could have been more effective if he wasn't so abrasive and impatient with fools I thought losing him was a huge loss to the broad. One of the big problems I felt was that too many people were scared to speak up. Not Apply. He wasn't scared of anybody.

Yeah. I was a dick but I always respected everyone. We had a very solid team in the beginning. I though there was a way to conduct the board to create success, and things were going wrong at every turn and it was making me nuts, it definitly brought out a harsh and egotistical side of me

I told him that you were a good guy and would be a much better fit with us than with GetBig because you seemed more interested in serious bodybuilding and not deal with all the balonie that goes on at GB and brings out the worse in you. I felt that once you were on our board you would be a great contributor and wouldn't have to worry about the constant pot shots. Much to my surprise gh15 agreed with me and said you were welcome on our board. I don't know why he changed his opinion of you so drastically. Maybe because you ended up not taking him up on his offer.
