I have met more than a dozen celebs in my lifetime and, it just does not effect me like I guess it does you or the fattman. You see, to me they are just people. Fact is I find the common everyday person to be more interesting than a celebrity who has lost the touch or understanding of the real world.

Grimek was relatively short, about 5'-9"(?), and I noticed that he had one "bad"/injured) eye (his right eye, I think?). This was 1959, and Grimek was approx. 49 years old at the time and still had a tremendously impressive physique! The fact that Grimek made no attempt to display/"show-off' his muscles with tight-fitting clothing really impressed me!

Yes, I understand that Grimek did some limited experimental juicin' under the direction of Dr. John Ziegler in the 40's and 50's. As you know, Ziegler did the original AAS experiments around '60-'61 with Olympic weightlifters Bill March and Louis Riecke.

What's humorous is that after making the bus trip to York to compete, I did not have enough money to get back home (Chattanooga, TN) and I asked Grimek, Batchell, and Shandor if they could loan me the $20 bus money to get back home (yes, it cost only about $20 one-way back then!). Batchell and Shandor coughed up $10 each to help me out. Later, I sent a thank you note and a $20 money order to Grimek in care of S&H in repayment.

It was only later that learned that Dick Batchell had won a whole string of national Olympic weightlifting titles, as had George Shandor, in the 30's and 40's. Yes, as a gawky, impressionable, teenager I met three REAL MEN that day!!

Sorry your claim to fame is meeting celebs at your job as a valet at a restaurant. Unlike you I have had a life where I got to meet and work with everyone I have a pic with. And to tell ou the truth I rarely ask for a pic, it is a staff photgrapher who takes the pics and gives it to me or a friend takes it. What you need to do after you graduate is use you goods looks and awesome body and make some money and earn a living. Until then your comments really mean nothing to anyone but you. Remember you are someone who is afraid to post a pic and give your real name. SO in reality you have not yet got in touch with the real world. I have a feeling you like me a little too much. First off I am as far from being gay as possible. So please get that out of your mind. Second the problem with you is, you haven't done a thing in your life. Unlike myself everyone knows my name and knows my past and knows who I am now. You on the other hand are still an enigma. It's obvious you have a few accounts here. One thing you find out about people on here is that it is almost 100% of the time the guys like you who constantly try to belittle others that have done something in their life do it out of sheer jealously or envy. I have no problems with that. I'm sorry you grew up and live in an area that maybe didn't give you the opportunities I had. I may be a little jealous and envious that you have experienced cow-tipping, shooting stop signs from a moving truck, knocking mailboxes down with a bat, drinking a case of beer in a night, dating hot family members and going to school in one room.
