The myth of southern speed.  As if no one else in the country can run at all.  Biggest myth in college football.

certain teams recruit high school playas that have super speed, some go for other qualities (overall athletics, rout runners, a better understadning of the game.. etc)... ohio is def the latter.... its not a myth when on paper the florida teams consistently have lower 40 times then any other schools.... in the NFL right now the fastest guys are from fL schools.... a slight edge in speed means alot in football.... with all that said, ohio state is just too much better of a TEAM

The SEC has better speed than the other conferences due to the talent pool and what they recruit.

OSU is better but Florida can win if they get the ball to their skill guys because they are better in the open field.

I honestly don't care who wins that game, it doesn't look all that exciting of a matchup.

If it comes down to FG's though, Florida is horrible......

Here is an idea to michigan and the entire big 10.  Have a championship game like everyone else and you can quit crying  because michigan would have gotten their rematch then.   Until then, quit bitching, you don't deserve to go to the big one michigan, you had your chance.

florida deserves it more than michigan

conference champ > 2nd place team

plus imagine if michigan beat OSU in the championship, there would be even more controversy because people would argue they had their chance and lost and it's hard for a team to beat the same team twice

Ummm excuse me.....BUT Florida has had more than one bad game against a bad team...Come on lets really not joke ourselves here...Lets see, Florida struggled and I mean struggled with Florida State, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt....Not to mention Auburn owned them...These are not opinions they are facts...You can all look them up or I am sure you watched one of those 4 games....

I think Michigan or USC have a much better shot at beating OSU than Florida does.

Florida has great team speed, more than OSU, but I'm not sure Florida's defense can get enough stops to win that game.

Who wants to watch OSU/Florida?

I'd rather see USC or Michigan play them....
