Jay will never be able to match Ronnie's muscularity, actually no one in the world will for the next 5 years that's how far ahead Ronnie is from everyone. Jay would never beat Ronnie at his peak, it just so happened that Ronnie was off for this past Mr. O and slacked off to much in the off-season, most likely due to his injuries.  And Jay came up and just barely beat him.  U think Ronnie is going to make the same mistake twice and come in off? I don't think so, the fact that we see Ronnie is this type of condition right now says allot, it shows that he is still hungry for it and knows he can beat jay like he has for the past 8 years.  Give the 8 Time Mr. O his respect, Jay has nothing on Ronnie, case closed..

Yes so true it's actually sad and not funny For real though I don't see jay making many improvements, what can he do? Ronnie was 245 and ripped with striations everywhere for his first win and got bigger and bigger nailing his condition a few more times. Jay is already around 275-280 with good not great conditioning and I don't see him getting much bigger or his conditioning any better, he may win another next year on size alone but no more after that, he just doesn't have what it takes to be a great olympian only a filler until a true great emerges to take the crown for another long reign.

Looks like Ronnie didn't come off this year.  Despite years of gear use, Ronnie still has great hair. 

If Ronnie can overcome his injuries, he will destroy Jay.  Even with all his improvements, Jay is not at the same level as a 100% Ronnie, or even a 90% Ronnie.  He would be a sure but distant second, which is very respectable.  Plus, no bodybuilder has ever been at the same level as a 100% Ronnie, so it's no diss on Jay to say that.

This is so true.
Ronnie looked unreal in 98, 99, 2003 and 2001 Arnold Calssic, but 2001, 2002 & 2005 his wins were very questionable.
Right now Jay is Mr.Olympia and unless Ronnie comes ripped with both lats functioning and something that resembles triceps he will lose.
Of course it would be great to see Ronnie of 2003 again, but that will never happen. Why? Age, torn bodyparts and age again.

Depends what you mean by 100%. IF you mean coming in conditioned and not 'off', then 2003 was 100% (or close). If you mean coming in at career best, then it just comes down to which version you think looks better- 2003, or 1999.


And 2005 wasn't really close.
