...the problem is that lots of you guys keep talkin about wide waists, but none of you who claim that Mustafa has a wide waist can back up your claims with some quality pics.
The very pics you posted show Mustafa's waist to be wide. Migchain hit it on the head; his legs are so big it hides the true size of his waist. That is what BBing and BBing posing is all about. So, Mustafa does have a wide waist, but he hides it well.

Lonnie Teper was MC and for once didnt make any personal attacks to influence the judges.
That's a first! I have seen Lonnie Teper mcee at least 25-30 IFBB/NPC contests and he has NEVER said anything negative about a contestant on stage.

Good call Craig. All Branch did was win a little pro show and qualify for the O. You managed to CONQUER SIXTH place at this year's Ironman and look bad on television. But hey, at least you weren't foolish enough to pay for your own hotel room. Foolish enough to talk trash and not back it up? Sure! But chipping in on the room at Motel 6.. .No way, Jose!

No, but he will pick a favorite and blabber about them all night. As for Mustafa, wide waist or not, he looked VERY smooth in comparison the Branch in those photos.

You mean his introductions of Branch Warren and Johnnie Jackson were longer than Ntuk Ntuk's?

As i sit here and read all this crap I think its time to set the record right. I arrived on friday around five and checked got a room right away without a reservation, even though I had been told that the hotel was completely booked solid, by someone in reservations who barely spoke english, every day for 2 weeks leading up to the show. I walked in to the Ladies show wich was so amazingly undersold that there wasnt even someone to buy a ticket from.
It was a Premo show and it is a shame that womans BB gets this kind of turn out. there were many Pro's in attendance who were not competing. Milos, Gunther, and Lee Priest to be the most noted. The next day the expo was in full effect as a 5 ring circus. There was martial arts, modeling, a kids play area, a rock wall for the kids to climb, plenty of freebies from the vendors.
a side note: Those of you tired of paying high prices for supplements can get incredible discounts at pro and NPC shows.- The prejudging for all NPC Events was amazing. Especially the routines of a completely armless young woman who almost stole the show.
Then came the prejudging for the Pro Mens Show. Big Quincy came out and looked 200% better than he did six weeks earlier at a guest posing. I almost couldnt believe it was the same man. Frank Roberson came out and floored everyone with his new size and conditioning. Dave Henry came out and looked good, but not at the level he was placed - I think the 4 magazine coverage of him last month was a key in this. Luke Wood came out and didnt look like he really didnt want to be there.
J Jackson came out and was an obvious crowd favorite, but his chest was hurting, not that he was the onlyone with gyno. Several pro's had WAY TOO MUCH estrogen in there system.(Dont they read MD?). When Nasser was announced, the room went silent... No one was sure what to expect. He came out large and meaty. that is the nicest way to say it. I dont really know his injury Hx, but his Triceps looked like they went through wood chipper. Qudo's to him for not giving up.
Branch Warren came out and the crowd went fucking nuts. I dont know how he is coming in so dry, but as a paramedic, it was scary to see someone so dehydrated and still walking around. Mustafa looked good, but his waist was incredibly wide for a bodybuilder. The saddest thing was the little guys, like Jimmy Canyon who looked great, but next to the big guys were ignored. The IFBB should have a under 200lbs division.
If they could do it for Franco Colombo, they could do it for the new guys. Once the call outs began, it was obvious that the NEW guidlines were being ignored as gyno was in favor. a good thing was that I dont recall seeing ANY DISTENDED BELLIES. The pro's if not the judges are taking this seriously. the evening show kicked ass.
34 Pros were to compete, but only 28 survied making it to the stage. There was an amazing stampede of IFBB women who came out and danced up and down the aisle to show everyone what the missed the night before. Probably the best show stealing I ever saw. Lonnie Teper was MC and for once didnt make any personal attacks to influence the judges.
Robersons routine lit up the audiance and kicked the show into high gear. Promoters Ed and Betty Pariso put on a good show, but the sorry ass prowrestling that was going on during the prejudging was pitiful and unprofesional. All the years they have been promoting, they should fucking know better. the IFBB was the moneymaker and all other events should of stopped during prejudging. All in all, I wouls spend money to come back again next year as i like most everyone there had a great time.
Great post, thanks for taking the time. I agree Ed and Betty are class acts and do a great job overall. How did Luke Wood look< does he have a chance to place in Charlotte, or now way?

Looking at the photos from the show he's not going to improve enough to make any impact at that show. He's done a pretty good job promoting himself on the various bodybuilding boards by posting a couple of Most Muscular "off season" shots but when he's compared during the compulsory poses to others on stage he is a C grade at best.

At least we won;t have to deal with this kind of judging decision now that you have your own organization? Oh sorry I forgot, you ran your mouth off once again and shot yourself in the foot! Even though you weren't in attendance at the show, you made a big impact there as a laughing stock. Officials, judges and the press were rolling in the aisles at your latest get rich quick scheme. Didn't you think your sponsors might be a little pissed at you starting a new federation when they are the main sponsors of the NPC? Didn't you consider consulting them before you ran your mouth off only to have to come back TWO FUCKING DAYS later and annouce that you fucked up?

After coming in 6th at the Ironman and flaking on that new organizations, Craig's gear sponsors are drying up faster than Andreas Munzer in a sauna.
