However, I'll tell you that it's been great networking for me (which is why I joined) ....and I have hooked up in person with a number of hotties on there. And there are several others I could have hooked up with had I made the effort.

That is good for you, and like you said to me, that is your prerogative.
My prerogative is my wife, family, work, finances, and me. I have absolutely no interest in a place where people call each other "friends" but really don't give a rat’s ass about that person. My friends will do anything for me, and I for them. In my opinion, it's a place where people link to each other only to climb the cyber social ladder in an attempt to become as shallow as possible.
Of course, there are surely exceptions to the rule, and you may be one, but as a majority, I think my perception holds true. I don't need to even mention the fact that it's a cesspool of pedophilia.
Even if I was single again and on the prowl, I would be hesitant to sign up. I always seemed to meet enough women going out to clubs or through friends. I could only imagine how much tang I could pick up if I was a good looking porn star, such as yourself. Honestly, I don't see why you need it.
In closing, remember those Michael Jackson jackets with the big "V" down the back? Back in the day, those would help you pull ass too, but I'm still damn proud never to have bought one
