  Do what I do.Whenever I get the urge to drink,I just put on some handcuffs and the flash back is severe enough that I change my mind.

fill a vodka bottle with water and pretend to be drunk. obviously you cant share your water.

   I hit enter by mistake before I finished typing... :) I was going to add that you can always spot someone acting more fucked up than they are.This is usually the case with young kids who haven't been party'n long.
