Pain in leg, starts at hip goes to calve

Anyone experience this type of pain. It goes from the outside of my hip shoots through my outside quad and outside of my calf. Doc said it may be hydration issue but ive been stepping up my water intake with no improvement. I think its because i sit on my ass all day at work. Is this sciatic pain?

Thanks, I think I took care of it by correcting my posture in the car, while im at work and while im standing, i favor my left leg alot and ive got the pain to go away. Turns out i was just being a dumbass.
