Who is Henry Rollins??

   I was watching a vid on Youtube (i'll post it later) and there was an awesome quote by this guy. Who is he?

He is a musician and a spoken word artist.  He first became well known by fronting legendary L.A. hard core band Black Flag.  He then began working as an author and public speaker.  He founded the Rollins Band after Black Flag broke up.  They are still together today.  He has also had a collection of miscellaneous acting and TV jobs and currently hosts The Henry Rollins Show on IFC.

Very cool guy.  Certainly influential as a counter culture contemporary thinker.

On one of his shows he was going off about Arnold Schwarzenegger being governor of CA.  He described bodybuilders as being roided up meatheads or something to that effect...  It was in relation as to why Arnold is not qualified to be in office.  Needless to say my boyfriend and I were a little disappointed, as we are fans of his and normally like what he has to say.

Was board the other night so i put in "jackass" the 1st Movie. Steve-O decides to get a tatoo of a smiley face while riding in a hummer down a set of mogols. And to my surprise the driver was Henry Rollins. I couldn't believe the coincedence because just a few hours earlier i started this thread. Now i know who he is.

He used to be in the band Black Flag (i don't think they like the band Adam ANT thus the name "Black Flag" or something like that) and then started the Rollins Band...good 80's music.

Nah, i like/liked him/them...good music but at the time he was popular, i was listening to shit like Blind Melon, The Ocean Blue (KROQ in LA stuff).
