I was no big fan of yate's but he was way ahead of the pack interms of sheer size/hardness,not pretty to look at but when he posed it looked like it hurt.he looked like every pound he weighed.

No one combined muscle size with hardness like him, even to this day.

Yates = Second worst symmetry ever, only Coleman comes in First!

Yates had excellent symmetry. Arms maybe slightly undersized. Still superior to most other pros, who have one or more glaring weaknesses. Of course, you are talking about aesthetics and don't know the meaning of the word symmetry.

personally, at least based on what I have seen, although dorian may have showed up in better condition in 95 than in 93, he had already tore both his quad and his biceps by this point.

so, injuries prevented him from ever equalling his 93 look.

I mean seriously, just look at this horrble deformed thing!:

(this is from 96, but it didn't look any better the year before).

But I also mentioned that you're biased towards Ronnie's look characterized by narrow hips and round muscles. It's just a difference in preference, and neither form is preferred by the judges, since bodybuilders with either looks have been known to win bodybuilding contests - such as Wheeler on the one hand, and Dorian on the other. ;)

Coleman in 03 was shit in terms of conditioning.  Look at his back in the BSN photos.  Pure water.  He was just looking huge so that was the wow factor.  In terms of conditioning, the Doz wins over the racist.

Dude, Ronnie was off.  He has only really been on 98, 99 and 01 Arnold.  Sorry, pics don't lie.  I've only seen one impressive shot from 03.  His MM while doing the splits.  That's it.  He should have won that show but was watery from the back.  Since 01 he hasn't been dry from the waist up.

Wow, I feel so honored, my second stalker on here besides JKDman.  Get a life.  He looked like shit from the back since 01.  He had better back conditioning in 01 than in 03.  Get over it.

Okay, equally as watery.  You happy?  Lol.  Either way his back conditioning hasn't been the same since he first became O but it was better than the other Olympia competitors.

The human body is an amazing instrument in it's ability to adapt!

you keep pounding foreign substances into and it will adjust accordingly.

Most people on drugs will admit that their the "first hit" was the best hit and they have been chasing that feeling ever since with ever increasing dosages but to no avail.

That has to hold true for anabolics as well. So early in their careers their body's reaction is probably their best. After that it is a gradual decline.

Vince Taylor must have the best genetics known to the human species or he has invented something new in his basement. No one has ever looked better 40+ y/o.
