Personally Im very proud of Luke...Ive watched his career for 8 years, saw him lose the pro qualifier to Jon Davies (questionable at the time even though i have the utmost respect for Jon) then come back the following year and win it.

Ive worked with Luke and he was an asset at the sydney musclecamp in 2003. He supports a great deal of the local shows...all federations; when he's in Australia and now he's closing in on being an olympia competitor on his own laurels.

It's awesome mate...congratulations

Luke Wood: do you believe in keeping things simple?

luke could you tell us about what you have learnt from all those years in the gym..learnt from your own experiences and watching others. What have you learnt from your mistakes.

could you relate this to building mass...

thank you. You have improved alot last few years. Great job!

I keep things as simple as possible!!  Ive learnt the biggest problem is people lifting too heavy and not even really working the muscle they are suppose too.  Strict form by going lighter and feeling the muscle working will more mass anyday than lifting a heavy weight with bad form

Yes i do. With dumbells

That's the way I like to do them as to keep my arms more to my sides rather then straight in front.

Looking good Luke.. Your chest has come on tremendously. Did you work on that as a priority for this year because your shoulders dont seem to overpower your pecs in those pics.?

I hope Luke Wood can come in his "best ever package". That`s the only thing a Bodybuilder could do, "be better than ever before". And this guy looking very foccused & motivated.
The rest is up to the judges. Today it`s unbeliveable hard to get a good placing in an IFBB Pro Event. Not only the quan. of competitors increase every year, also the number of "real genetic freaks".

I´m german, so i`m looking more forward to the arnolds classic where Markus Rühl and Ronny Rockel will make there Pro-Debut in 2007. But this competition will also be a hard one for our pros. I`ll predict one of the closest Arnold`s Classic`s ever (esp. between place 3-8 can happen anything).

All the best for you "Luke" (and also the rest of the competitors).
