that's not 600lbs squat.In The gym that used to train as a teenager there was a team of olympic weightlifters who were training with the same weights as the one on the pic. 25, 35, 45 lbs discs are all the same size and tehy are covered with thick rubber so the the heavy bar bounces off the ground when they drop it. Thats why the weights in the photo are different colors  - because they are not the same weight.

i counted around 270 kg there,

the reds are 25's, the blues 20's and the yellow 15's (kg)

there is no 25 kg. It's 20kg ( approx. 45 lbs), 15kg(approx35lbs), 10kg(approx, 25lbs).  There are 45kgs(approx 100lbs) too.

dont sweat it bro, i didnt guess, ive trained in european weightlifting gyms, the colours are as follows for the big disk plates

black - 10 kg
yellow -15kg
blue    - 20kg
red     - 25kg
green  - 50kg.

ummm.....ok sure ...I'm just making this up. There is no standart for the colrs of the weight.There are a few different companies that make these paltes for olympic weightlifting - and they use different colors.

If they are Eleiko then those weights are correct. All the other ones I've seen have used the same color/weight as well. I'm in Europe.
