Funny thing, in Belgium/holland it's legal. But in other parts of europe it's way cheaper and more people smoke it. I once told a hungarian that i could get a gram for 6 euro and he was laughing at me.

Hippies traveled to places like Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Nepal to collect different strains and brought them back to places like California. Eventually, many took their operations to the Netherlands because of the open culture and laws.

My brother once went into a town located on the himalaya foothills in west bengal india and there were a bunch hindu drifters there that gave him free weed and charas. Not talking about a shitty gram here, but like 50 temple balls of hash and like a kilo of weed. Shit, now I feel like I owe a debt of gratitude to the shawdow.

Practically all weed in Western-Europe is grown indoors in special installations. You have a harvest every 3 months (about 30 g per plant, 5-10 euro per gram, say 500 plants, you do the math) plus unseen quality. Marocco has some big ass outdoor hennep fields which also export to europe. We have a shitloads of different kinds of weed, from places all over the world.

In southern europe you can grow some decent plants outdoor as well.

Just take a look at Neville, one of the first and most important Dutch seed merchants. Most of the gear that comes from commercial seedbanks these days originates from Neville's stocks. And Neville got most of his stuff from California. Strains like Skunk and Northern Lights originate in the west coast and Cali.
