In Lots of lands, a fatal car accident can be taken care of on the spot. No years of litigation. In SE Asia Ive heard of several cases of simply the obligation of the richer party to pay funeral expense regardless of fault. End of problem. |

Did you guys actually read the article? No offense, but I think we should bring this kind of justice to the states. People in panama died because of cough syrup this douche bag approved containing chemicals in anti freeze. What if that had been one of our children. Death sentence for this scumbag is right on track as far as I'm concerned. Anything for $$ for some people. They ought to execute him by making him use the cough syrup.

Regarding some of the talk about Chinese powder purity - They don't fool around over there! http://portal.tds.net/news.php?story=28230 FYI Don't know if you guys over there heard but just in the last couple of weeks here in Canada there has been huge recalls on Toothpaste marked as "CREST" (it has writing in English but not in french ,the way to tell its legit here), but anyways it too contained antifreeze. And yes it too was imported from China This is good info to pass on Scammers of any product should be brought to light. X |

Corruption is accepted, he screwed up politically. China needs be a world player in chemicals, and the purchasers need be sure they are getting good pure product. Frankly it seems barbaric to us, but is in our best interest. You have no clue how shit works in places like this. A traffic fatality/ murder is settled on the spot for a couple thousand $'s regularly in Thailand. No years of law suits. Take it or leave it. Common to see a traffic cop with a new Jaguar/ BMW/Benz. Or the Water metere reader Guy with a new Fully Loaded Jeep Cherokee.. (He makes about $5 ed, and a Jeep costs MORE THERE!) Payola. Nobody says Boo! Actually, their system is much MORE efficent than ours. Some corruption for the everyday man speeds things along. |
