well the top scientists " ON THIS PLANET" giving us evidence about global warming are ALSO WHITE..

how ever..mist blacks..brownies..whitie s (that r not US christian fundies)..hell even brownie muslims (that believe its all allahs work) believe in global warming

my geography teacher in college said that a possibility for global warming is simply a cycle of the Earth. He said that there is a school of thought that this just happens. Temperatures go up and then go back down.

many scientists believe there is enough evidence. many do not.

the fact that the scientific community is divided shows that NEITHER side can prove their belief, right?

You know it's pretty screwed up when Bush followers still think Global warming is not real when Bush even mentioned it in his State of the union address, and it's been proven that the oil industries construced fake study groups to discredit global warming.

that would be my thinking but who am I? I don't know how good/bad things will be when I am older but I think by the time I am 60 the world and oil business will be different.

Uh oh...the sea has risen 2 meters in the last 120 years. My hometown is 650 meters above sea level, so I guess I'm gonna have to head for higher ground before the year 41000.

These pools melt to the bottom of the iceberg.

THAT is when the water rises 8 to 15 feet in 10 years - when one or more large chunk falls into the sea.

I recommend you watch the Al Gore movie - they show the holes forming, they show the thnning of the ice on the entire pole, and they show you how much the water will rise when certain chunks detach from the land and enter the sea. It's an interesting watch. sea water rising will not be a gradual thing. There will be events which will accellerate it greatly.

The whole point of my original post it that on the first earth day in 1970 there were a bunch of nut cases saying the world was going to end because of global cooling. On the 37th earth day in 2007 there are going to be a bunch of nut cases saying the world is going to end because of global warming. People are quick to jump to conclusions, and the only way we will ever know if any of this is true is with time.
