Uh oh...the sea has risen 2 meters in the last 120 years. My hometown is 650 meters above sea level, so I guess I'm gonna have to head for higher ground before the year 41000.

THAT is when the water rises 8 to 15 feet in 10 years - when one or more large chunk falls into the sea.
I recommend you watch the Al Gore movie - they show the holes forming, they show the thnning of the ice on the entire pole, and they show you how much the water will rise when certain chunks detach from the land and enter the sea. It's an interesting watch. sea water rising will not be a gradual thing. There will be events which will accellerate it greatly.
