well, you heard wrong. his past has been discussed thoroughly here. he's the most well known of Jim French's Colt Magazine models. google Carl Hardwick. btw, Grant Henderson was also a Colt model, as were Chris Dickerson, Jim Morris, Bob Birdsong, and many other top bodybuilders. |

All right already, I shaved the stache a year ago!!! It's funny that you win the masters and everyone thinks I'm old. I hate to tell you I'm not 50, I'm 42....I think if most people knew how old many pros are, they'd freak..I did!!! I competed with a 'stache for several reasons, it set me apart, and I thought Ed Corney, Mike Mentzer, and Casey Viator looked cool. So....
Thanks for the compliments and comments, I don't usually go on these boards, but after I let a few pics out, it's good to get feedback, good or bad. Hope to look my best at the Ironman, but it's always a crap shoot for an old man!!!!!

Chick was a lot bigger than Rusty, both in terms of height and overall mass. Is that worth nothing? Also, he has a small waist given that he comes in at 250 pounds.
As for Rusty, he should have placed higher than he did at the Masters but I don't think he should have won. I have to say, his physique looks remarkably fresh and young looking for 42. His skin isn't showing signs of age by the looks of it.
I agree. Bob outmasses him in side by side comparisons. Judging by the pics, Rusty should have place higher than he did though. |

Rusty has never gotten the attention he deserves from the magazines and other media for his accomplishments and contributions to bodybuilding. He's one of the few master posers left, but I hope his new instructional DVD on posing helps revive the almost lost art of posing.

Rich, you've got to come to PHX and see the new Torture Chamber, I just added 3 new pieces this week. I can't fit anything else..it's packed, good for late night workouts. My regular gym was getting rid of extras....they remodeled and have like 10 of everything.. Got an old verticle press, some GREAT crossovers, dipping bars (I'm giving those to my little sister) her house is a torture chamber grave yard. I made some that probably weigh 150 lbs (remember the stuff made of plate steel and 4" I beam?
