Believe me, I'd like to, but I don't think i can swing it, for one, we just started a new business and to be away from it as much as we are for these shows can really hurt you.  I mean, if I knew I was going to make money at, or had reasonable expectation of derivnig income from it, I'd go.  However, the expense of going to Australia for more than a couple of days without a sponsor just isn't a smart thing to do.  I'm not saying I can't afford it, it's just I don't like to throw $$$ away!  Until I think I can place in the top, or have a sponsor who picks up the expenses, I'll put my money back into my business which does generate income.   Probably not the answer you wanted, but there it is.

Promotors aren't sponsors, they generate income from promoting shows, not paying competitors expenses.  That would be nice if they did!!  Remember everything is times 2.  I take my wife with me also, wouldn't go to a show without her.  We've been to more shows in the last 15 years probably than any other couple.  Sometimes she competed, sometimes it was just me, sometimes both....She hasn't competed in I think 3 years now, but I expect her there with me at every show.

Tony's got a great reputation with the pros.. if you have time listen to Vince Taylor's PBW interview when he made his comeback last year and why he chose Tony's show  Wink .. be sure to let me know what you think?
