Tomorrow night:

-Route 3 West into New Joisey, Clifton exit.

First course:
Alexus Steakhouse. Top cuts of beef washed down with cold beer. Low Jersey prices:

One-mile drive to nearby 150-year old Applegate Farm ice cream/dairy. This is the real deal, not a fake "old style" with faux history.

another nice big double cheeseburger and some fries for me, not to mention my usual brew. i spoiled myself, though, and spent $13 on a big bottle of chimay blue. they didn't have the white.  :-\

Have you ever tried "Blanche De Chambly" from UniBroue (Quebec I think)? They allways have it at Bevmo. Best Belgian white ever.

it ain't bad. i'm a sucker for tripels and quadrupels over whites, so unibroue's "la fin du monde" is probably my favorite of their lineup.

Spring Mix Salad w/chevre-vinaigrette and croutons
Asparagus w/prosciutto and shaved Parmesan
Baked potato rubbed in pepper and kosher salt
Marinated beef tenderloin fillets
Chocolate ganache cake w/vanilla ice cream
and Lots of Merlot :D
