Professional Bodybuilding; '' A Warriors Journey''
« on: February 14, 2007, 03:37:48 PM »
I think it has been well documented over the years that Professional Bodybuilding is rife with pharmaceutical usage.  One only has to look at the physiques that are presenting on stage, to see how grotesque the sport has become. However, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.

To many in the mainstream-of-society, these bodybuilders represent all things 'repulsive'  and 'obscene'. But to the diehard-fans they are idols, images of wonderment and perfection!

Yes, of course it worries me that many Pros have to deal with major organ deterioration, psychiatric disturbance, addiction issues, spousal violence and even premature death; but that just goes with the territory.

-These warriors understand too well, the inherent dangers of the sport. The ultimate glory of a  kitch-trophy and a meaningless endorsement-contract, far outweighs any of these health-concerns!

Train hard, live free!
