IMPORTANT INFO: Is this a cry for democracy or a coup???
« on: February 17, 2007, 08:09:37 AM »
Please note: to determine if the forum wanted more mods, we had a vote where every single forum regular had a vote and a say, everyone who had at least on occasion posted in political counted.  The vote was done this way so that we could determine the truth about how the board felt and not let any one person engage in a campaign to recruit votes from other areas of getbig.

All three mods said no to more mods and 12 to 3 the forum regulars voted to keep the status quo.

SO I ASK... IS THIS DEMOCRACY AT WORK OR A COUP ATTEMPT IN POLITICAL???  Jimmy has pinned 3 threads in General...  Is this your forum or will you let Jimmy under what he claims is democracy actually push forth his agenda against the clear will of the users of this forum... 12 to 3...

This needs to end and there is no way I would have addressed this farther had Jimmy not pulled off getting the topics pinned in General...

Jimmy tried this same tactic when he tried to take over the X Board.  He knew if the vote were limited to X Board regulars he'd lose in a landslide, so he recruited people from other boards who never post on the X to come and "vote".  This would be like Arnold bringing in bodybuilding fans from all over the world to vote for him for governer of California.

Mod voting should be limited to those people who post on the board in question. Anything else isn't a vote, it's a coup with foreign assistance.
