Chick - question for you: since you hang out/around many of the current pros, how much/often would you say they practice their posing routines? Do they at all?
It varies...but most spend a good amount of time on their routines...especially as they get closer to the show when training isn't as important. |

Rusty didn't get screwed....he placed exactly where he should have . Not 1 person in attendance that I talked to thought he should have been any higher.
I don't understand this love affair with Mark Dugdale. He has a nice physique, but nothing spectacular. Here he is against Rusty. Pretty similar, except Rusty is twice as wide. |

Rusty, definitley the most aesthetic guy up there and best poser by far, very classical, but the judges don't care about that stuff anymore. But if the audience was to vote who they would most like to look like it would probably be Rusty.

Rusty was definitely flat, but I'm talking about physiques, not just how they looked the day of the show. I'm just saying that Dugdale's physique is nothing special. His arms are short and small. He's not particularly wide. His legs have no sweep. His lats don't have a dramatic flare. Those are a lot of flaws for a 5'6" guy. |

Flexonline's pictures were much different than the other photographers. You can't compare the two. Flex did something with the contrast and something to increase the graininess. Its very obvious. Frank did not compare with Mark.

I don't man, after seeing the both the pre- and finals I'm convinced that it's just a name game. McGrath was just one of the guys who is bigger and just as hard as the top 5 guys. Selestov, Martin somethin, and another guy that kinda looked like Gustavo all deserved to be higher. I also agreed with the guys backin Ahmad Haidar. How do you get better symmetry than that Round bellies, great conditioning, yeah his abs stand out, but everything just flows. Anybody placing Yamagashi in front of Haidar, go check out the comparisons on Flexonline and tell me who should place higher. The only thing I saw was Yamagashi's hams from the side shots were better. Everything else Haidar owned. I would've like to see him up in the top three. Oh, and get outta here with Eddie Abbew. What was that!
