next year there will be MANY people declaring bankruptcy if the housing market continues its downward trend as analysts believe.  Just too many people out there who own two homes (second one as an investment) or who got in on a house beyond their income when rates were low.

...or also pulled equity out and re-fi'ed when rates were low.  :'(

DEPENDS ON INCOME

chapter 13 is a re-structure.  you will have a payment plan of sorts.

chapter 7 wipes out most non secure debts.(you will still have to pay student loans and the like)
