There is a flip side to that coin as well, Jag. If she is really hot and your looking for a relationship and she works in a convienient store, personally I would pass. I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life breaking my back supporting the both of us because she is to uneducated or incompatent to get a decent job. If your looking for a one night, stand then by all means go for it. Believe me, if you saw a really hot guy working at a gas station making 5.95/hr you wouldn't want a relationship with him unless you wanted a one night stand. Just my two pennies.

There's one really hot Asian model/singer who you've no doubt seen in various ads and commercials all over North America.
She works regularly in a convenience store. She doesn't make $5.95/hr tho. She doesn't get paid at all. Neither her, nor any of her brothers have ever gotten paid for working in any of the chain of convenience stores their parents own.
Then too... look at Toxie. (I have to qualify this or else he'd get a swelled head)
For the sake of argument, ...let's assume Toxie was HOT!
He works at a gas station, ...would that make him any less worthy of dating.
One time, back in 89 my girlfriend and I were sent to a body double audition at a new studio that opened in the east end of Toronto. While there we saw this scruffy looking Greek guy wearing scruffy jeans, a dirty T-shirt with stains down the front, Kodiak steel toe construction boots etc. He was joking with the film crew. They were asking him what he was going to feed them tomorrow. He said he'd make a few Greek delicacies for them to try.
Later on that evening as my girlfriend and I were leaving the studio, it was dark and slightly deserted, and we realized it could be a while before a bus came around. All of a sudden we hear this car behind us rev it's engine. We screamed and ran like scared little girls thinking we were about to be run over. After we caught our breaths, we realized it was the greek guy we had seen earlier in the studio. He was laughing his ass off so hard, he almost had tears running down his face. The more we freaked out and scolded him, the harder he laughed. After a while, when we calmed down a bit, we were able to see the humour in it, and we kinda started laughing too. Then he said "I'm sorry for scaring you, ...but I couldn't resist. Let me make it up to you, let me give you a ride. Where are you headed?". We thought about it for a second, and realized it could be forever before a bus came along, so we agreed to accept a ride from him. We said he could drop us off on the Danforth where we could catch the subway back to our apartment at Bay/Bloor. He said "Perfect, I'm heading up that way myself." While in the car we got to chatting, and he asked us what plans we had for the evening. We were just going to go home and possibly rent a video. He suggested we join him for a few drinks along the Danforth. We said "Why not?" We thought we were gonna have a few drinks with the Kraft services guy. Kraft services is pretty much the dept that fetches food on a film set. If you're hungry, they cook whatever you want. You could say they are at the bottom of the totem pole so to speak. Anyway, we join him for a few drinks, and while there there are a few men who are also there... conversing in Greek. We couldn't understand most of the conversation, because they were going in and out between English and Greek, but one thing we did understand, was the one guy begging him to do a deal. He was pleading "C'mon, it's only $5,000,000. ...that's like a drop in the bucket, it's nothing for you." to which our friend responded. "I don't care if it's $5 million, or $5, I don't like the deal. I won't do business with that pig." At that point my girlfriend and I kind of looked at each other, as it slowly dawned upon us that ...perhaps this was NOT the lowly Kraft services guy we had thought he was. Turns out the guy OWNED the entire damned studio, as well as 2 other studio locations around Toronto, and 2 others in Vancouver. He is one of the most well connected and wealthiest people in Toronto.
There's this really HOT guy that works at my neighbourhood McDonalds. Unfortunately, he's married, otherwise I'd be flirting up a storm with him. One day, while sitting out on the patio, I saw him out there with a bunch of the highschool kids that worked there, and I discovered that not only was he HOT, he was charming, warm, personable, had a great sense of humour. He was also adored by these kids. I saw a side to him that was quite impressive. I later found out, he not only worked at
THAT particular McDonald's location a few hours each week, he worked at 7 other locations a few hours a week as well. He was the owner/operator of 8 different and highly profitable McD's franchises. Do you know how much is costs to even get
ONE McDonald's franchise these days? You're looking at a cool million...
easy, and that's just for the right to have a franchise. That doesn't even include the property, building, supplies etc.
The difference is North Americans are conditioned to think people get their money from their jobs, or what they do from day to day... which for the most part is true, because we've been brainwashed to be employees ...however, they frequently forget that quite frequently the person behind the counter, may not just be an employee. They might infact own the business.
