steve nash is 6'3...i'd love to see you try to dunk over him  ::)
Nash dived down on first contact trying to get a charge.
So basically, when he's on the floor it's not that hard to dunk over somebody.
Obviously i was exaggerating though, i thought that was pretty clear.

Nash is not known as a great defender, and definately not as a shot-blocker.
That's why i don't think it's one of the best dunks ever, still a good dunk nonetheless.

This gives me goosebumps. Sick dunks and blocks

Dawkins never brought the whole darn backboard and assembly to the floor. He pulverized the glass on a few occasions.

This knucklehead doesn't get that the whole thing with Shaq was done on purpose, to get attention. Pathetic but it fools the clueless, like this one.

I would suggest learning more about sports but that would take more perceptiveness and intelligence than i've ever seen with this idiot. He's clearly in luv with Shaq.

As usual you are clueless. He didn't hold on. He just dunked and got the fuck out of there for his own safety! See for yourself.

That's funny because someone else noticed same, you clueless jackass with 13" arms wasting time on a bodybuilding site LOL

It's no coincidence that hotdogs like Kobe & Shaq pull this crap, because it appeals to fans who don't know any better and don't see the contrived drama involved. Nash is a serious player who doesn't waste time with this garbage; the fact that Kobe could pull this is off is no more impressive than Shaq's deliberate attempts to copy Daryl Dawkins.

I disagree.  Kobe has repeatedly made big plays like this to help turn momemtum in his team's favor and/or to kill the opposing team's spirit.  As LeBron said last year, Kobe is "a killer."

Post pics or vids please. or just vividly describe...uh hell naw...only pics and vids please

I still go with vince carter jumping over a dude.

For overall impressiveness, Vince's dunk is my winner by a long shot. Jumping spread eagle over someone 6-7'+ tall and then easily clearning the basket after already traveling many feet through the air..... :o :o :o

Of course the best one has to be the Jordan "walking on Air" Dunk, pure beauty when seen in slow motion. It launched the career of His Airness, hell the man's Spread Eagle dunk is on the tongue of all his shoes.

He probably doesn't break 6'1". The guys in the NBA are measured in their shoes. Patrick Ewing listed at 7' and was only 6'9" as an example.

Oh yeah. I am sure Shaq had to emulate Dawkins.  ::) The guy was doing a simple  dunk you dork. What is there to emulate?

What a tool; two guys on here notice that he was copying Dawkins and the denials continue.

Who cares that two guys said he was copying Dawkins? I suppose every guy who ever dunks is copying Wilt Chamberlain using your ridiculous way of thinking? It was a dunk for gods sake. There are only so many variations of putting a ball thru a circle.. Pumpster. You are a goober!

Didn't Brent Barry win the slam dunk contest a few years back?

It was one of those Barry brothers.  I think it was Brent.  He was wearing a shirt that said "White Men Can Jump" (or something like that), but was afraid to show it, so he kept a jacket on during the competition.  Did a Jordanesque dunk from the free throw line.

I totally agree. KJ was barely 6'1 and he dunked over an outstanding defensive player in Hakeem.
