Lee; are you suggesting the IFBB's credibility is currently being questioned with the recent events and that they now must take a firm stance on Vince and Victor?

Well....it looks like the IFBB officals don't attend expos or visit the Pro's websites.

I personally don't care what people choose to do with their lives...but holding some people accountable & others not...would have me go postal if it were to happen to me.

Found guilty of what? Unless I missed something, Vic wasn't arrested for dealing...he was one of the names mentioned that may have had a precription for AAS...

Regardless of how much money a bb'er made, the temptation to deal steroids is just to great.  Everyone knows they have access to them.  Depending on their conneciton level, it can be very profitable.  With generic GH selling for 1.2iu and reselling for as much as 4-5iu, it doesn't take long for that to add up.  It's all tax free cash as well.  That's hard for a lot of people to pull away from.  

If you want pro's to get paid.  Support the shows and support the vendors that sponsor the shows.  If you want to see bb'ing DIE, stop attending expo's.  Three companies could pull out of the IFBB and kill it tomorrow.

well let me rephrase my question, I am curious I am not trying to attack you in any way or the IFBB with my questioning, I am just very curious. If Vic has a legit prescription for AAS how does that effect his standing at the Arnold or any IFBB event or does a prescription null and void using AAS when it comes to competition as long as it is legit. Now if he is found purchasing AAS illegally in the recent past or future how would the IFBB handle his recent win and or position as an athlete, such as would they suspend him, fine him, etc.

St. Cloud was doing his G4P and transexual whatever the hell other shit while working for the IFBB.  The IFBB didnt get rid of him, despite knowing about it.  He left on his own.  So why should the PDI get rid of him?

I like you Chick, I think you do a good job of representing the sport and want to see it do well, and you help promote it so it becomes more popular.  But Lee has clearly been screwed by the IFBB's rules, while others are freely allowed to break whenever with no reprocussions.

Lee is right about the rule against doing things that bring discredit to the sport. I for one believe this infringes on personal freedom and has nothing to do with bodybuilding and contests. However, others might feel otherwise. In the old days they had an interview for the AAU Mr America and if there was anything like doing porn in your lifestyle or past you were history. If you spoke with a stutter you were gone, too.

The talk about what bodybuilders have to do to support their lifestyle all gets back to drugs. The current mentality is that you absolutely need expensive drugs and lots of them to be the best. There are even so-called gurus who advise bodybuilders about what to take, etc. If the drug rule were enforced and there were random testing during the year the sport would be quite different from the controversial thing it is today. If competitors spend all their time at the sport and do not have a job, then how on earth are they going to afford that lifestyle? The answer is they have to do things they might never have believed they would do. I don't judge those people but the buck has to stop with the people who stage contests and have bodybuilding organizations. The whole sport is contaminated except for a few natural shows that are fair dinkum. While we tolerate drugs and don't test then this situation and the controversy will continue forever.
