A lot of those guys are short guys... They can work in that ring though... I remember watching 35 Minutes of Rob Van Dam and Spike Dudley at a show back when ECW was touring. 35 Minutes... tons of near falls... FANTASTIC.

Spike was awesome and I bet he doesn't weight a buck sixty.

LSD is about 5'8" and 150 pounds. extremely small. RVD's a little shorter than me and not as heavy. but if you watched their best matches in the early-90s they were some of the best ever to step in the ring. it's like shawn michaels. not a big dude, but because of that he can make his matches absolutely crazy. the big guys have to be careful with what they do or they'll injure themselves a la sid vicious.

it hardly counts, but i think one of the real historic matches was mankind v undertaker, hell in the cell at king of the ring 1998. even though it was a super shitty match from a technical wrestling standpoint, i don't think anyone had ever seen anything like that before then, and sure as hell haven't see anything like it since.

Hogan vs. Rock was pretty good. I think that Hulk was supposed to be a heel, but the fans didn't see it that way.

Yeah, loved that match. Mick took a ton of abuse.

A few years back when Mick Foley used to fuk with The Rock, I thought it was funny. I can't get into it now though.

The Rock is such an amazing mic that carries the show....provided you like his brand of humor which I happen to LOL!!   The wrestling almost becomes secondary with him.

one of the greatest feats in the history of wrestling was that fall from the top of the cage to the table.

Yep, he was a natural. I read his book, he was a fighter even as a kid. Plus, he called Goldbergs mom during a hurricane in Florida and offered to help her, so Goldberg said he would always have his back, and Goldberg didn't get along with many wrestlers really.

I gotta say that outta that list #2 was an amazing match....my friends watched that with our mouths open.   Also, back in the heyday of "monday night wars" WCW I remember a smaller PPV match between Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit that was technically amazing.   I also remember a WM match between Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit that brought the house down.....it was incredible!!

I knew a lott wrestlers never liked Goldberg cause he became so cocky after his amazing push by mgmt....granted he popped huge with crowds, but I had never heard that bit of trivia about the Rock and Goldberg.....I always thought the Rock was a pretty class act.   I knew he had some minor run-ins with the law, but when he was just a kid then.

The Chris Jericho / Dean Malenko fued was awesome back then.

I remember Jericho bringing out a list of 1001 wrestling holds he did, which was when Malenko was the man of 1000 holds.

It was a free for all, Sandman use to sit outside while everyone was in line and drink diffrent beers from fans. The wrestlers would chill afterwards in the parking lots and smoke weed too. I knew that shit was too good to be true and that it wouldnt last....

There were some good kids that wrestled there, but havin your main draw as x-pac didn't bode well for its future on MTV......there was some good action, but without some star quality in the ranks it wasn't gonna pop with the mainstream.
