To whatever extent Tiger has felt compelled to act "whiter" than he might have in a non-racist society - especially in a sport as unintegrated as golf - yes, that's a bad thing.

Tiger woods is the best golfer the planet has ever seen...And its only because of what his father did to push him along at a very young age...If his father didn't do what he did, my guess is we never would have heard of Tiger Woods...If Woods dies tonight, many will say the Jack was better because of his titles...But anyone that knows anything about golf knows that tiger is easily the best golfer to ever play the game...

1) That word was the most efficient way to communicate what I was trying to say.  I could have wasted my time and spent three paragraphs describing and contrasting the various attributes of a Tiger Woods versus a Dennis Rodman, but simply saying "Black Man as opposed to nigger" very efficiently conveyed the same message in a way everyone understood.

2) Who the hell ever said I "wanted to be a mod"?

I have a guy that works for me who is the nicest dude you will ever meet...he is also black...and he is also dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to the type of work we do...His lack of skills has NOTHING to do with his color..but he has suggested more than once that the reason he doesn't "move up" is due to his skin.This infuriates me because it is false.It is his poor performance that holds him back...not his color.
