"Assault weapons", "automatic weapons" and "armor piercing bullets"

I hear these terms being throw around in the ignorant ass media and on here as well.  A few points:


"Assault weapon" is used to classify long rifles capable of holding 30+ very fast bullets bullets.  this kid used two handguns, which are NOT assault weapons by any legal or group definition. 

"Automatic weapons" - any gun which fires multiple bullets when the trigger is pulled once.  Again, this was NOT used yesterday.  He used "semi-automatic" guns - which require one trigger pull for every one bullet fired.  Automatic gun = machine gun.  They cost $2500+ each and require a $2000 tax stamp to get, afte r along background check. 

"armor piercing bullets" - beyond ridiculous.  Not used, and not manufactured since 1994. 


So please, if you don't like guns, that is fine.  They save lives and take lives, but a ban would only take them out of the hands of good guys.  Just please, don't abuse words throw around by ignorant people.

I know plenty of folks with automatic weapons..nobody ever violated any laws as far as I can see....its assholes who steal them or convert them illigally that commit criimes. It ain't the gun..its the prick behind it.

The real answer is todays youth's minds are garbage.  Its like they think human life is a video game, push a button and get a new life.  This generation is without doubt, the worst generation in history.  Be proud of yourselfs, every other kid today is damn near psychotic.  We actually used to fight with our fists and we all understood their ain't no bitch worth a human life, pussy is dime a dozen.

Morning HH6.. I carry a 9 but prefer a 45. I am thinking about actually going .380 kel tech during the summer...:)

I went with the Kimber .45. Even if u wing em..the wing comes off.  ;D. Roster these same kids ur railing against are kicking the dog snot outa the Iraqi's every time we end up in a straight fight. They mowed the shit out of the folks in Falujha..these kids are hero's. Don't lump must of our youth in witha few worthless gangbangers. Well I have 3 more days off so I'm headed to the gym. I'll chime in when i get back.

I used to carry a .45 for probably 3-4 years.  I'm a bit more accurate, and WAY faster on shots #2,3,4 with the 9 mm than the .45

I figure any (god forbid) gun battle I ever face will be over in 5 seconds after a flurry of rounds, so the amount of bullets I can squeeze in matters most.
